UK NMC CBT FOR OVERSEAS NURSES

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Test of Competence Part 1 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 120 Multiple Choice Questions for 4 hours. NMC CBT is intended for nurses trained outside the EU (European Union) and European Economic Area seeking employment as a nurse in the UK.

Nursing jobs UK’s NMC CBT online practice is based on the newly updated syllabus. It contains multiple choice questions in the same format as that of the actual Computer Based Test.  It covers all four domains and questions specific to the adult nursing addressed in the test, ensuring that the overseas nurses pass the CBT by preparing with this material.

About NMC CBT

The Adult Nursing test covers four main domains as described by the Nursing and Midwifery Council:

  • Professional values

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Nursing practice and decision making

  • Leadership management and team working. 

Pre-registered nurses will be tested on a range of generic nursing competencies as well as topics relevant to just your specific field of adult nursing. CBT test will also contain a set of questions on the patient or public safety and are considered to be ‘critical questions’ that the candidate has to answer correctly as part of their overall exam pass.
